The Problem isn’t the Program

Disclaimer: As a Consultant, Joanna gathers information, assesses, researches, recommends, and advocates for young adults and their families. Although clinically trained, Joanna is not an acting licensed mental health professional and will often refer clients to choose from a list of mental health professionals and programs for support. Additionally, Joanna has no financial relationship with any mental health professional or program. All conferences that Joanna attends, she pays fully for herself. Some, not all, programs will assist consultants financially in touring their programs (i.e. flight, hotel, or meal). Joanna makes it abundantly clear that by allowing her to tour their program, there is no guarantee she will ever refer to a program.
